Attorney Baker Coaches Brewer Mock Trial Team
Attorney Samantha Baker took on a new volunteer role with the Brewer High School Mock Trial team as their Attorney Coach. The Maine High School Mock Trial program engages high schoolers in simulated trials and allows local schools to compete against one another with students acting as “attorneys” and “witnesses”. The trials are judged by local attorneys. Gross Minsky’s own Steven Mogul has served as a Judge and evaluator for the mock trial competition for several years. The program helps teach the students about the trial process. The teams are coached by teachers from the schools as well as volunteer attorney coaches. This was Samantha’s first year volunteering as an attorney coach and she enjoyed the experience immensely. Samantha looks forward to continuing in this role in future years.
